Deliria Development Roadmap
What Linesway has actually shown — engine, biomes, bosses, and music — without a fake patch calendar.
Deliria did not appear as a weekend prototype. Linesway’s 5 Years of Game Development | DELIRIA is the studio’s own timeline: more than five years of work toward a cube-free infinite sandbox on Unreal Engine 5. This page is a public-materials roadmap. It is not an official Trello (there is none), not a dated Gantt chart, and not a promise that a given biome ships in a numbered patch.
The game shipped. The release date tracker covers the slip log (5 March 2026, 31 July 2026, 31 August 2026) and the listed 2 September 2026 store date for Steam app 3725650. Keep timing there. Keep systems here: shipped pillars versus names Linesway has not printed.
VoxelWeaver and a world without cubes
The technical spine is VoxelWeaver for Unreal Engine 5, shown in Caves, Biomes, and Destroy!. The pitch is smooth terrain: spheres, ramps, overhangs, and caves you dig by hand instead of snapping to a block grid. That is why this wiki’s mining guide and building guide talk about carving, not placing cubes. Creative mode, a grapple, and wings are part of the same sandbox sentence on the store — movement tools so the ground can stop being the whole map.
If you are coming from a block game, the roadmap item that matters most is this engine choice. It decides how towns sit on hills, how invasions path, and why a “starter box” is the wrong first house. Pair VoxelWeaver context with getting started and controls so the first hour is not a fight with muscle memory.
Store-listed pillars (shown, not guessed)
Steam copy is the closest thing Linesway has published to a feature roadmap. This wiki will not add secret classes on top of it.
- 17 biomes with their own weather, light, and wildlife — forests, deserts, frozen ridges, ruins. Rank them for first-week travel on the biome tier list.
- 10 NPCs: build a house and someone moves in; build more and you have a town. Details live under NPCs and the players hub.
- Nine bosses (the store also frames them as Lovecraftian gods) plus hundreds of lesser threats. Walkthroughs: bosses guide. Threat order: boss tier list.
- Two invasions, including Blood Moon and Hastur, scored by a character-action style rank. Read invasions with combat.
- Multiplayer as a listed heart of the game: online and LAN co-op, online and LAN PvP, with worlds able to disable PvP. See multiplayer and playstyles.
- Necronomicon tracking finds, kills, and gaps, plus Steam Achievements (store text says 70; the widget has listed 71). Treat those as Steam-listed counts, not a farm guide.
- A sealed darker dimension described as a puzzle of its own. No wiki page should invent the key.
Weapons are swords, guns, bows, and magic, with mounts, pets, and summons in the same loop. Theory-crafting belongs on the weapons tier list and the guides hub, not in a fake “Season 2” box on this roadmap.
Soundtrack is a music roadmap, not a boss list
The Deliria Soundtrack (app 4929610) is 27 long-form tracks composed by Claire Noelle. It is DLC audio. Track titles include The Great Pathogen, Yoggoth Cerebral Excoriator, SUPERSTRUCTURE, NANOSTRUCTURE, Labyrinth, Speaker of the Unholy Wind, Mausoleum of Sarkomand, and The Wall. Those names are music. Some overlap flavor with bosses or biomes; they do not add extra gods, extra raids, or a second campaign.
If a Discord pin treats “NANOSTRUCTURE” as a hidden final boss, send people back here, then to the bosses guide. The album can sit on Steam beside the live base game. That is DLC packaging, not a hidden fifth god.
How Linesway shows work in public
The Linesway YouTube channel (~58k subscribers) is the long-form changelog. Watch in this order if you want the development story rather than hype cuts:
- 5 Years of Game Development | DELIRIA — scope and years.
- VoxelWeaver caves and biomes — terrain thesis.
- Deliria | Stylish Combat Showcase — style rank in motion.
- Announcement and release trailers — store-facing footage.
Discord (9Vp8XPnXKz / invite/deliria) is for questions, not for treating every clip as a patch. There are no promo codes and no Roblox scripts to “unlock the roadmap.” English-only Steam language support is part of the current public plan; do not expect a localization milestone on this page until the store says so.
What we refuse to schedule
This wiki will not invent:
- A 1.1 / 1.2 patch train with fake item tables.
- Console ports, mobile ports, or a Steam Deck verified date (compatibility is unknown).
- Extra bosses named after soundtrack tracks.
- A Trello with swimlanes.
- Calculators that output DPS from numbers Linesway has not published.
New roadmap rows should be store notes, Steam news, or Linesway videos with dates. The practical companion pages are the tools hub, the install checklist, and official links. The Updates Hub remains the index if you only needed the short version.
Five years of VoxelWeaver work produced 17 biomes, nine bosses, ten NPCs, and a score that goes enormous behind a style chain. That is the roadmap you can defend. A month for the sealed dimension, a Hastur nerf, or a creative-only edition is fan fiction. Bookmark Steam and YouTube, and keep carving plans on the building page instead of a spreadsheet titled “Season Zero.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is there an official Deliria Trello or public patch schedule?
No. Linesway has not published a Trello. This page maps Steam copy and YouTube materials only. For timing, use the release date tracker.
What is VoxelWeaver?
Linesway's Unreal Engine 5 tech for cube-free terrain, shown in this caves video. It is why mining and building are about carving, not blocks.
Are soundtrack titles extra bosses?
No. Claire Noelle's 27 tracks are music. The Great Pathogen, SUPERSTRUCTURE, and The Wall are album names. Boss prep belongs on the bosses guide and boss tier list.
How long has Deliria been in development?
More than five years, per 5 Years of Game Development | DELIRIA on the Linesway channel. The base game is on Steam; this page still refuses a fake patch calendar.
What multiplayer is on the public roadmap?
Steam lists online and LAN co-op plus online and LAN PvP, with single-player. Worlds can disable PvP. Details: multiplayer. Not Roblox, no scripts.
