Deliria NPCs Hub
Ten residents, a house scan, and combat habits — roles we can document without inventing a roster.
Steam lists 10 NPCs for Deliria. Build a house and someone moves in. Build a few more and you have a town. Arm those people and send them into battle. That is the entire published roster pitch. Linesway has not released individual NPC names, so this hub will not invent a merchant, a nurse, or a guide with a cute title just to fill a database.
Deliria is Linesway’s cube-free PC sandbox on Steam (app 3725650). The store date is listed as 2 September 2026. Price sat at $19.99, or $17.99 at the 10% intro cut. English only. Windows only. Use this hub to plan housing and habits on a real install, not to download a fake ten-name list.
Use the two child pages:
- Town NPCs and housing for doors, house scans, weapons in resident hands, and invasion support
- Combat playstyles for carver and builder, melee style-rank, gunner, bow, magic, host and town defense, and creative sandbox
These are not official classes. They are ways to play the same sandbox. If you came here looking for a character select screen, you are in the wrong genre — start with getting started and building instead.
What this hub will and will not do
It will explain housing as a system: size, door, crafting furniture, a scan that decides the room is valid. Playtest showed that scan lighting up when the house passed. It will explain combat support as a role: a resident with a copper sword is a body in the street during Blood Moon or Hastur’s Invasion. It will explain that money from bosses such as Prince Petry can feed the town loop.
It will not publish a fake ten-name list. Playtest showed a healer-style vendor selling heart crystals and quick heals, and a combat-capable resident who could be evicted when you swapped who lived in the box. Those are roles on camera, not official Steam names. Until Linesway prints a roster, treat every personal name you see on a third-party page as rumor.
The tier list hub grades bosses, weapons, and biomes. This hub grades people systems. An S-tier gun still needs someone to hold the door. A ranked biome still needs a house that passes the scan before you brag about the view. Early Steam reviews landed Mixed; dirt that will not place and fall-through floors are first-session problems, not NPC lore. Park those on the review and the install checklist.
Town first, loadout second
A sensible order after you install:
- Carve shelter with mining and building. Smooth terrain means you sculpt a room, not snap cubes. Grapple and wings help you reach a ledge; they do not replace a door.
- Pass a house scan so a resident can move in — details on the NPC page.
- Hand them a spare weapon. Keep named guns like ShotCopperBullet on the player for Yoggoth.
- Pick a playstyle that matches whether you like melee chains, bows, walls, or hosting a town.
- Hold the night. Then go hunting Eye of Deliria with the combat guide and the boss walkthrough.
Online and LAN co-op plus PvP are on Steam. Friends can share the town or fight each other if PvP is on. Worlds can disable PvP; they cannot disable the need for a door. Read multiplayer before you assume a guest will “just know” the house rules. For a first world, leave PvP off until the scan has actually populated someone.
Creative mode is the sandbox sibling of this hub. Playtest spawned bosses onto opposite teams for a show. That is entertainment, not a replacement for a living town. If you only ever spawn Eye of Deliria in creative, you will still be lost when a real Blood Moon hits a survival world.
Playstyles live next door
Melee that climbs style rank toward SSS, gunner, bow, magic as a marketed fourth verb, carver and builder, host and town defense, and creative sandbox: habits, zero class names. The playstyles page is where those habits get a full write-up. This hub only insists you pick one primary habit before you download a twelve-tab spreadsheet.
English is the only Steam language. There are no promo codes that spawn a named villager. Deliria is not Roblox. Track official links, store date history, and the roadmap. Confirm system requirements so the town you planned actually runs. Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, and 71 achievements do not print NPC names either. The Necronomicon tracks finds and kills; it is not a resident almanac.
Measure the house footprint before you hang lanterns. If the scan fails, the town never starts, and no letter on the weapon list will save a doorless box. Finish the room, then decorate. A pretty cave with no door is just a nicer spawn pressure test.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many NPCs are in Deliria?
Steam lists 10 NPCs. Individual names are not published. Roles — housing, town, and combat support — are on the NPC page.
How do I get an NPC to move in?
Build a valid house. Playtest scanned for a door, crafting furniture, and size. More valid houses become a town. Step-by-step sits in building.
Are there official character classes?
No. Steam describes verbs: swords, guns, bows, magic, building, co-op. Use playstyles as habits, not as a class select screen.
Can NPCs fight?
Yes. Store copy says arm them and send them into battle. Playtest handed a copper sword to a resident. Keep your best gun; they hold the street during invasions.
Is Deliria on Steam so I can recruit NPCs now?
Yes. Steam lists 2 September 2026 as the store date for app 3725650. Housing still needs a passing scan. Use this hub, then the install checklist.
Where should a host start?
Leave PvP off, raise one valid house, then read multiplayer before you invite. The getting started loop still comes first.
