Deliria Creative Mode Guide

Creative mode in Deliria is the sandbox inside the sandbox. Public footage and playtests used it to park Prince Petri on team one and Eye of Deliria on team two so they would fight while people watched telegraphs. That is the feature this page will defend. It is not a second campaign, not a creative-only SKU, and not a way to skip getting started forever.

The game is live on Steam (app 3725650), store date 2 September 2026. Windows, English-only. Online and LAN co-op plus PvP still apply if you host friends in a creative world — multiplayer for /help, World PVP Disabled stamps, and kill-feed percents. Parent index: guides hub.

What creative is for

Linesway’s pitch already includes creative tools beside VoxelWeaver carving, a grapple, and wings. In practice, the useful jobs are:

  • Arena first. Smooth a bowl or a pit with habits from building. Overhangs and ramps beat a flat desert when a flying skull needs camera space.
  • Team spawn. Put named encounters on opposite teams. Confirmed names you may spawn if the menu offers them: Eye of Deliria, Prince Petry / Petri, Yoggoth, Leapus / Lepus. Do not type a fan fifth name and expect a prefab.
  • Watch, then leave. Creative is a lab. Survival is the test. Style rank toward SSS still wants your own hits in a real night — combat.
  • Share the pit. Co-op hosts can let four people argue about the rim. Disable world PvP unless the argument is the point.

Mounts, pets, summons, grapple, and wings change how you inspect a volume. They do not place the walls. If you are flying without wings, that is a launch-bug report on the review, not a creative unlock.

What creative is not

It is not a 100% achievements farm unless Steam’s overlay says a tick popped — and this wiki will not promise that. Prospector, Excavator, and Strip Miner sit on mining a real cave, not on a spawned gold pile we have not documented.

It is not the soundtrack. Playing Yoggoth, Cerebral Excoriator while two bosses duel is a mood. App 4929610 still does not add a god.

It is not an invasion calendar. Blood Moon and Hastur’s Invasion are town events on invasions. Spawning a pack on a team is not the moon blossoming into an eye of blood.

It is not a keybind PDF. Linesway has not published a full table. Controls marks WASD-style movement as an expected default and lists the observed hotbar: sword, pickaxe, axe, magic, apple, torch, sunflower, hammer, ammo.

How to run a useful lab night

  1. Install the base game, not only the OST. Launch checklist and system requirements first. Depot download is about 2.11 GiB; Steam’s storage line has read 4 GB.
  2. Carve a bowl you can leave under fire. Mining if you still think a straight shaft is architecture.
  3. Spawn only names this wiki already prints. Rank leftover mystery gods on the boss tier list as unranked on purpose.
  4. Mix a melee tag into a gun or bow string while you watch. The weapons list named ShotCopperBullet, Hell Serpent, Space Ripper, and Bloodbringer from footage — creative will not print their drop tables.
  5. When the lab is boring, go make a house someone will move into. Ten NPCs still want a door, not a spectator pit.

English-only UI means the creative spawn list should match the client strings. A German fan sheet that invents a menu label is not a patch. Playstyles can pick who stands on the rim in co-op: carver, fighter, host.

Bugs that look like creative features

Launch-week reports (small Mixed Steam sample) included sleep softlocks, placed blocks turning to dirt, falling through the world, and flying without wings. Creative can make those look like toys. They are still reports, not a documented VoxelWeaver mode. Save often. Date and known-issue framing: launch-week notes. Timing history: release date. Engine history: roadmap.

Official video for the terrain thesis is VoxelWeaver caves on Linesway YouTube. Watch it as motion. Do not treat a trailer as an installer.

Creative mode is how you learn a telegraph without donating a survival night. Spawn the four named gods onto teams, carve a bowl, keep PvP off if friends are chaotic, then go back to food and a torch line. The sandbox is bigger than the lab. The lab is how you stop walking into Eye of Deliria blind.
